WASHINGTON – On Jan. 20, Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States. Supporters will gather to celebrate his victory, while others travel to the Nation’s Capital to witness the inauguration firsthand.

This inauguration marks an unprecedented moment in US history. It will be the first presidential inauguration to take place indoors since Ronald Reagan’s ceremony in 1985, due to severe weather conditions.

Trump’s second inauguration signifies the beginning of his second non-consecutive term and is historic as the only such event since Grover Cleveland’s re-inauguration in 1893.
